Steady Platform is seeking a Talent Partner-Recruitment & Selection who will be central to proactively sourcing, nurturing and recruiting potential talent through the considerable growth anticipated over the next 24 months and beyond. The successful candidate will become a key member of the HR/Talent team that has ownership for developing and growing the employee base.

Overview

The Talent Partner will work closely with the leadership team and hiring managers to recruit, develop and retain their employee base. The Talent Partner will collaboratively drive the people strategy within their identified business unit(s) to build stronger, functional customer experiences enhancing business performance with a heightened focus on talent acquisition & selection, development and retention. The Talent Partner will help to generate, implement, enhance and measure people management best practices in collaboration with the Director, Human Resources.

The Talent Partner is an experienced talent acquisition and selection professional, who has broad experience in various areas of human capital development best practices. The partner builds a valuable relationship with internal clients and transfers requests and solutions to/from the business unit. The value add of the talent partner is in the deep knowledge of the internal clients, key employees and business processes.

This role will primarily serve as the primary Talent acquisition and selection point of contact for their internally assigned departments and customers to develop, implement and communicate Talent workflows and processes working closely with the managers/leaders and other program owners on the HR/Talent team. This is specifically designed to streamline the overall communication process while maintaining high standards of effectiveness. The successful candidate will work closely with all HR/Talent team members and support staff on initiatives including workforce planning, talent acquisition and selection, promotions, employment branding and retention strategies, while supporting Steady’s business vision and values in all behaviors and activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the highest quality of services by guiding hiring managers and candidates through the company’s Talent acquisition and selection framework, while maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, employees, their peers and the external Steady community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the appropriate Talent team member to deliver seamless processes and programs across the organization.
  • Deliver programs that support the internal customer’s needs and initiatives. Program work may include recruiting and selection (primary focus), employee retention, talent assessment, succession planning, compensation (equity, bonus, and merit), management development and other talent management initiatives.
  • Serve as internal consultant to assigned internal departments
  • Work with the Director, Human Resources and the HR/Talent team to provide the management team with analytics which show the overall organizational "health" by analyzing trends in pipeline performance, employee/candidate satisfaction, attrition and turnover.
  • Responsible for developing and managing the company's talent acquisition/selection activities for all positions (multi-site and domestic), including hands-on recruiting for open job requisitions. This role will also work with the Director, Human Resources to develop and administer recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and implement recruitment plans and procedures for staffing as assigned by the Director, Human Resources; assist in development and implementation of new strategies and procedures to support current and future hiring needs in all domestic Steady locations.
  • Understand business unit’s strategies and objectives and translate those into talent skills and specific sourcing, recruiting and talent strategies.
  • Review, plan and implement with approval from the Director, Human Resources on specific recruiting campaigns, talent acquisition tools, job boards and process improvements to achieve talent acquisition objectives and to meet client talent needs.
  • Research and investigate the most efficient and cost-effective sourcing ideas, strategies and tools including all advertising media, internet recruiting, job fairs, college recruitment, and other sources to meet staffing needs.
  • Develop and provide meaningful metrics on the status of recruitment, market conditions to business units and recruiting management chain.
  • Plan strategies, with specific emphasis on maintaining the reduced use of outside recruitment firms.
  • Develop and implement workflows and processes to build a strong in-house ‘brand’ of Talent that demonstrates true value-add to the business.
  • Partner with Director, Human Resources to develop, measure and report on metrics related to the Talent programs and functions.
  • Build networks and community relationships to attract passive applicants.
  • Maintenance of all required pre and post hire employment documentation. Responsible for meeting departmental record keeping standards and all compliance objectives including continual update of shared new hire tracking document and headcount reports.
  • Work with management to standardize the Steady interviewing process.
  • Partner with other HR/Talent team members to cross train as necessary on talent programs and build a cohesive team. Other related programs that may require participation could include, but are not limited to: coaching, manager skills training, leadership development and compensation specific to the acquisition and retention of talent @ Steady.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including ADA, EEO and immigration requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5+) years of experience in a strategic recruiting role, preferably in a high volume, high Tech/Analytics/Software/Sales/product development environment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with demonstrated success as a Talent Partner in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience are a must.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicant tracking system technology and workflows.
  • Behavioral interviewing experience a plus.
  • Expert level experience in applicant sourcing, internet research, and passive applicant acquisition.
  • Expert level experience building networks and community relationships.
  • Proficient in using MS Office, G-Suite, Word, Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Able to take strategic decisions and translate them in to tactical actions across multiple locations

This role will work closely with key departmental and project stakeholders across the organization. Therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization is a key priority in this role. No supervisory responsibilities required for this position.
